Swadlincote Ski Centre, situated in South Derbyshire is just a 20 minute drive from Burton and just 30 minutes from the centre of Derby. Offering lessons or open practice sessions in both skiing & snowboarding, Swadlincote ski centre is the perfect place to learn the basics or brush up on your winter sports skills. Every school holiday the centre offers Kids Fun Activity Days in skiing or snowboarding which are great ways for kids to get active and make new friends, whatever their ability.
The centre also offers activities for younger children such as Sno-Tubing or Tobogganing (from aged 4+ to adult), which can be enjoyed by all the family. The Sno-Tubes are big inflatable tyres which slide down an 80 metre section of our main slope. The Tubes can be spun around or linked together for lots of fun with your friends. Activities can also be combined using our Combo ticket so you can experience our ‘Cresta Run’ Toboggan ride.
Also featuring the ‘Alpine Lodge Restaurant & Bar, which overlooks the main slope and nursery slope areas, Swadlincote Ski Centre makes a great family destination.

The competition prize is a FREE Toboggan & Sno-Tube Combo Deal and will admit up to 5 people (at least one adult and at least one child in the group) which includes 5 rides each of The ‘Crest Run’ Toboggan Ride and a ½ hour Sno-Tube session.

Terms and Conditions:
This competition is free to enter and the winner will be the first correct entry drawn from all entries and will be notified by 1/04/2010. Closing date is 30/03/2010. No correspondence can be entered into and the decision of the judges is final. Children under 16 years old must have permission of a parent or guardian before entering. There is no cash alternative to the prize, which is a Free Combo Deal Ticket for up to 5 people (includes 5 rides on the Toboggan & ½ hour Sno-Tubing), (Group must include 1 adult and 1 child) to Swadlincote Ski & Snowboard Centre. Children must be 16 years and under. Age Restrictions: No under 4’s are permitted on the Toboggan or Sno-Tubes. On Toboggan 4-7 year olds MUST ride with an adult, 8 year olds and over MUST ride alone. On Sno-Tubing, 4-7 year olds must be supervised by an adult, but MUST ride alone. The prize must be used by 31/07/2010.
