Rainforest Cafe Santa's Grotto Christmas 2011 Review
|
One lucky family got to visit the Rainforest Cafe Santa's Grotto
My husband and I together with our son James 8 and his friend Sammy 5, visited the Rainforest café on a Sunday for the Santa’s Grotto. What a wonderful experience!
As you walk into The Rainforest café, you truly feel that you have walked into a tropical Christmas hideaway. We were met by Snowflake the Elf, who took us into the restaurant and we waited by the Gorilla to be seated. Snowflake explained that Father Christmas was asleep and she was going to let him know that James and Sammy were here. After a short time we were collected by another elf called Glitter who took us to meet Father Christmas.
Father Christmas knew all about James and Sammy, what they liked to do, who their friends are, where they went to school, what they had worked hard at during the year including school work, stopping biting nails and passing a grading at Taekwondo. Father Christmas also knew what they wanted for Christmas. Both boys received a wonderful present too. The two boys were amazed and the whole experience was magical.
We were then all taken into the restaurant and waited at the elephant station to be seated. The boys enjoyed a very tasty 2 course lunch and played with the activity pack that the waitress had given to them. The boys loved looking at the lifelike animals around the restaurant especially the Gorillas and were fascinated by the special effects of the thunder and lightening.
We left the restaurant with two very happy little boys and an experience that they will never forget.
