How Do I Start?
Make the most of this amazing site. It is packed with over 15,000 places to go and things to do and it is so easy to navigate.
The Quick Search is just here on the left hand side of every page.
Choose What's On if you are looking for an event
Choose Attractions if you are looking for a destination, somewhere to go.
Select either What's On or Attractions, then either select your county from the drop down list, the date range if you want What's On, or use a keyword to search for something in any area.
Hit Let's Go and get your results returned in seconds.
When you get results returned on attractions you can filter them.
By Category You will see the number available to you and they are divided into subjects, eg Animals & Farms, Trips & Transport etc. Click on any one of these filters and you will get that category of results first.
By Price or Age Suitability
Select a filter above the results to show them in the order you choose.
Advanced Search is on the left hand side at the bottom of the Quick Search Box.
Here you can streamline your search in many ways for either What's On or Attractions.
For example, you can put in your postcode and select a radius of it. Hit Let's Go and you will get back all there is to do within that distance of your postcode.
You can include lots of criteria, indoors, outdoors, educational, fun etc. But Remember, the more boxes you tick the less you get back , as any place has got to match all the things you choose, and it will narrow your choice.

This database is powerful and can narrow your search. You can find subjects such as CASTLES, but REMEMBER TO PUT THE WORD CASTLE (in singular) into t he keyword search to find them! You can find places where Charles Dickens is remembered by putting DICKENS into the keyword search.
