War & Peace Show    21st – 25th July Coinciding with the 65th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, The Hop Farm proudly presents the largest military vehicle action spectacular in the world. Set across 30 beautiful acres in the heart of the Kent countryside, 4,000 vehicles from all over the world will enthrall 100,000 enthusiasts.   Daily battle re-enactments are sure to thrill, and live tank demonstrations will bring these metal monsters to life! Having viewed these giant war machines up close, why not examine them on a smaller scale in the model marquee, which will display hundreds of perfectly-rendered replicas. There’s plenty more on offer as well; motorists can take on the 4x4 challenge if they think they can handle the battleground of the infamous War & Peace Off-Road Course. Nostalgia will be in full swing with fashion shows and visitors displaying the distinctive style of 40’s dress, while bands and DJ’s will be playing only the very best music from the era. With over 1000 stalls offering a vast range of military and period collectibles, you’re sure to be able to find the perfect memento to take home from this spectacular event.

This competition is free to enter and the winner will be the first correct entry drawn from all entries and will be notified by 12/6/2010.  Closing date is 7/6/2010.  No correspondence can be entered into and the decision of the judges is final.  Children under 16 years old must have permission of a parent or guardian before entering.  There is no cash alternative to the prize, which is a Family Ticket (2 adults and 2 children) to The Hop Farm.  Children must be 15 years and under & must be accompanied by an adult. The prize must be used between 21st and 25th July 2010.
