 Child Care
- Nurseries
In all our resorts we have fully equipped exclusive Esprit Nurseries, available to all Esprit children aged from 4-36 months.
Most are based in dedicated rooms in our larger chalets or hotels but in some resorts we have hired special rooms in local properties.
Our Nurseries are run by qualified British nannies or nursery nurses (CACHE/NNEB or equivalent), with child care assistants in some nurseries, for six days a week from 8.30am to 5pm. The location of each nursery is detailed on the resort pages.
- Supervised Lunch
To maintain the flexibility necessary for a family holiday, we also offer Supervised Lunches for children to enable us to provide our Esprit Seamless Service. Children in an Esprit ski class or Snow Club will be collected at its end and be taken for lunch in one of our chalets, Chalet Hotels or designated restaurants.
- Snow Clubs
Snow Club sessions are tailored to suit the children’s ages and include a myriad of fun and exciting activities that we know children really enjoy. Depending on children’s age, the weather and local resort facilities, these may include for example:-
• Fun ‘Wacky Whizzing’ on sledges or ‘bum-boards’
• ‘Hunt the Ranger’ adventures - generally ‘gungeing’ the poor Ranger when they find him!
• Igloo-building, snow-art & snow-sculptures
- High Tea
Served at around 5.30pm and supervised by our staff, high tea provides children under 13 with a healthy menu, but tailored more towards children’s tastes than our adult dinner.
Puréed food is available for infants on request. Parents are asked to accompany children under 36 months, whilst children 3 – 12 years will be supervised by Esprit staff.
Children under 13 are not allowed to join adult-only dinner.
- Evening Care
Coco Club - For 6-12 year olds who are not yet ready for bed when adult-only dinner starts, we run evening clubs in all our resorts, but not in every property – please see the individual resort pages for details. Children staying in different properties are welcome to join Cocoa Club, but parents are asked to deliver and collect their children, unless otherwise specified on the resort pages.
Baby Listening/Child patrol service - For children aged four months and over, our Baby-Listening / Child-Patrol service is provided free of charge in all our chalets and Chalet Hotels on our staff’s one day off (generally Thursdays) from 7.30-11pm.
Child Ski Classes
The Esprit approach is to work closely with the local ski-schools and select the best English-speaking children’s instructors to run ski classes exclusively for Esprit children, with guaranteed small classes.

For six days of the week our Chalets and Chalet Hotel catering staff prepare all your meals for you as described below. On their day off, breakfast will still be served to you as normal without however the hot option and that evening you and your family have the chance to eat out in one of the local cafés or restaurants.
The majority of our guests feel that children under 13 years can inhibit the dinner-party atmosphere at evening meals, especially if they are over-tired, so our younger guests are served high tea at about 5.30pm. We do not then allow anyone under 13 at the adult evening meals in our Chalet Hotels.

All of our properties are exclusive to Esprit allowing us to provide a full range of services to make the perfect family ski holiday. Family Ski Offers
As always it pays to book early, especially when travelling with children. Esprit offer a wide range of early booking discounts including; cash-back offers, Free child places, child discounts, Free children’s lift passes and discounted adult lift passes.
Offers can change frequently and therefore we recommend checking to see what is available when you look to book your family ski holiday.
As well as our Crunch-Busters early booking discounts, we also have some last minute family ski deals as we move through each ski season. These can be found on our Special Offers page and are changed regularly. All offers are subject to change and can be withdrawn at any time without prior notice. Last minute deals have little availability and once they are gone there are no more.
