Established in 1929 Bekonscot Model Village captures a delightful and timeless image of a lost age, depicting rural England in the 1930’s - an unforgettable day out for everyone.  Bekonscot boasts the ultimate train set, and its historic Gauge 1 line has been famous since 1929 for being one of the largest, most exciting and complex in Great Britain.  A sit-on railway is running at weekends and school holidays.  There are also remote control boats. Bekonscot has a refreshment kiosk, gift shop, playground, picnic areas, and some free parking.  Our log cabin is a fun place to hold a child’s birthday party. This competition is free to enter and the winner will be the first correct entry drawn from all entries and will be notified by 1.6.2010.  Closing date is 28.5.2010.  No correspondence can be entered into and the decision of the judges is final.  Children under 16 years old must have permission of a parent or guardian before entering.  There is no cash alternative to the prize, which is a Family Ticket (2 adults and 2 children) to Bekonscot Model Village.  Children must be 16 years and under.
